Jack Johnson to perform for first time in Costa Rica

The Hawaiian singer-songwriter, and former pro surfer Jack Johnson, known for songs like Banana Pancakes and Better Together, will play for the first time in Costa Rica this upcoming Nov 10th.

The concert will be held at the Coca Cola Amphitheater in Parque Viva, La Guácima, Alajuela, starting at 7:00 p.m., and the tickets are on sale at www.boleteria.cr, with a price range cost from ¢40,250 to ¢69,000.

Johnson is active in environmentalism and sustainability, often with a focus on the world’s oceans. He and his wife Kim created the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation and the Kouka Hawaii Foundation. His entire team promotes a plastic free environment for their events, for which there will be free water provided through water refill stations at the venue. The public can enjoy this benefit by bringing their own bottles to fill in.

As part of Jack’s All At Once social action network, Costa Rica non-profits including the Corcovado Foundation, Raising Coral Costa Rica, Costas Verdes, Earth Equilibrium, and the Somos Foundation, will have stands in Village Green at the show with information about their causes, and ways to support them. Fans can enter to win tickets by participating in volunteer events and beach clean-ups hosted by these All At Once Non-Profit Partners.
