Phyllis Kramer and Katherine Terrell recently appeared on the Nosara Podcast to explain how U.S. citizens living abroad may participate in the 2020 United States presidential election.
As they explain in this episode, the first step is getting registered. According to Phyllis and Katherine, U.S. citizens are often surprised to learn they are required to register if they are voting abroad. As a result, they are promoting a event on February 15th at the Kitson Library to register all voters.
Although they are affiliated with Democrats Abroad, the February 15th event is required to be nonpartisan and ALL voters are invited and encouraged to attend and register. However, on March 7th there is a partisan event, the Global Democrats Abroad primary.
As you will hear in the podcast, both Phyllis and Katherine are passionate about this subject and promise to be available via email to answer questions and help people get registered even after the event.
