We have followed this project closely and gathered all information directly from the organizers. The Nosara Water Quality Monitoring Project has been waiting for parts of their lab to arrive for months and recently they did.
The lab was promptly assembled and the Baker’s Beach section was tested last week with results posted on this site. The test showed a 100% pass for safety rating with less than 10 cfu fecal coliform/100 ml water.
This week they will start weekly testing Baker’s Beach, The famous Guiones Palm tree, and the Rio Nosara river mouth. We will continue to share this vital info as these tests results come in.
